From the south:

Take I-81 North to Harrisonburg, VA and take exit 247 onto US-33 east. Take US-33 east to the park entrance and turn left to head north on Skyline Drive.  Entrance fee to the park is $15 per car.

Follow Skyline Drive to approximately mile marker 51 to Big Meadows Campground.  Follow signs for the amphitheater.

From the north/Washington Metro area:

Option 1: Take I-66 West to I-81 South and follow directions above

Option 2: Take US-29 (Lee Highway) south to Ruckersville and turn right on US-33 west, then follow directions above

Option 3 (Scenic route): Take I-66 West to US-340 south.  Turn left to enter the park entrance.  Follow Skyline Drive to mile marker 51 ,  Big Meadows Campground.  Follow signs to the amphitheater.  Travel time from park entrance: approximately 90 min.

From the east:

Fastest option is to take I-64 West to Charlottesville, and turn onto US-29 north to Ruckersville.  At Ruckersville turn left onto US-33 west to the park entrance.  After the park entrance, turn left onto Skyline Drive.  Take Skyline Drive to mile marker 51, Big Meadows Campground, and follow signs to the amphitheater.
